Pres. Duterte's Philippines Is The 10th Fastest Growing Economy In The World

The Philippines is the world's 10th fastest growing economy in the world this 2017. According to the World Banks's latest edition of Global Prospects, the Philippines economy is expected to advance between a range of 6.5 to 7.5 percent.

GDP Annual Growth Rate in the Philippines averaged 3.68 percent from 1982 to 2017. It reached an all time high of 12.40 percent in the fourth quarter of 1988 and has an -11.10 percent record low in the first quarter of 1985. This is according to

Philippines' economy benefited on macroeconomic environment of low inflation and low debut to GDP ratio. Exports from the Philippines rose 12.1 percent from a year earlier to USD 4.81 billion in April 2017.
