'Not terrorism': Police find dead bodies in Resorts World after gunman kills self

There was an untoward incident that transpired at the Resorts World Manila, as of june 2, 10:54 a.m. there were 34 dead bodies found. Most of them women, found on the second floor casino. This is according to Bureau of Fire Protection, Southern Police District Director C/Supt Tomas Apolinario.

The bodies found has no gunshot wounds. They might have died from stampede or suffocation.

The suspect lit himself and he is a lone gunman.
"Evidence points siya lang mag-isa."

The government is not considering declaring martial law in Luzon.

The incident happened when the attacker entered the second floor parking. He then went to the gambling area. The attacker poured gasoline on casino tables and stuffed a backpack with 113 million worth of stolen chips.

There were also a number of people that were hurt or injured. Representatives of Resorts World Manila are settling the hospital bills of the victims.

Dela Rosa also said that the incident was unlikely to be an act of terror. This is despite the ISIS reportedly claiming responsibility for the attack.
